No matter the park, it needs to be furnished with safe and reliable equipment and fixtures. Parks with sitting areas should have comfortable benches. Wherever there are picnic tables, nearby trash receptacles are a must. Adequate lighting is necessary for use during evening hours. Depending on the park, other amenities like a bike rack, fence, bridge, or drinking fountain may be beneficial as well.
